ZSOM Power Supply
The ZSOM Power Supply is a 12 V plug-in power supply with a pluggable screw terminal connector that fits directly into the power connector of ZSOM-Control and ZSOM-Mini-Standard. It is part of the ZSOM-Control Starter Kit and can also be ordered separately.

Connector pin assignment
The plug matches the power connector J3 on the ZSOM-Control (see pinout) and the power input of the ZSOM-Mini.

Usage notes
- The 12 V output is well within the input range of both boards (9–28 V).
- 18 W covers the typical power consumption of the ZSOM-Control with display (about 8.5 W), which leaves headroom for the switchable 5 V / 3.3 V outputs and peripherals such as USB devices or a 4G modem.
- If the application draws more power, or a different supply voltage is required, any DC supply within 9–28 V that delivers at least 1 A can be used. The mating connector can be ordered separately as A013719.
- Only plug in or unplug the power supply connector when the mains side is disconnected.
